On The Line Ep28: Milford Lake Championship

The 2026 Kansas Kayak Anglers Trail Series has officially come to an end, and we’re wrapping up the season on On The Line with the biggest event of the year — the KKA Championship at Milford Lake! Joining Tony and Tim for Episode 28 are two returning guests who had a big weekend at Milford: 2026 KKA Champion and Rookie of the Year Brett Albright, along with Big Bass winner Neil Parikh. We’ll break down the Championship from start to finish — prefishing, tournament-day strategies, productive baits and techniques, key decisions, leaderboard watching, and what it took to find success on Milford. Then we’ll open up the conversation and look back at the entire 2026 KKA season. We’ll talk favorite tournaments, new gear and techniques, anglers who impressed us, lessons learned, and what everyone would like to see heading into 2027. We’ll also cover what’s still happening this fall, including the @ecofishingshop Shop Big Bass Bonanza on October 24, the final KKA Monthly Tournament, the closing stretch of the season-long Big Bass Bonanza, and a preview of our upcoming November episode introducing the 2027 KKA admin team and schedule. 🎣 Join us LIVE, drop your questions in the comments, and help us close out another great season of Kansas kayak tournament fishing!
