Luxury and exceptional food, all in one place in Navi Mumbai. Join me inside Malang, the signature Indian restaurant on the fifth floor of Courtyard by Marriott, Nerul, right beside the iconic D.Y. Patil Stadium. From a grand five-star lobby to rose-gold cutlery, live ghazals and a thoughtfully crafted menu, here is my honest review of one of Navi Mumbai's finest dining experiences. We had originally come for the buffet at The Pavilion, the hotel's multi-cuisine restaurant, but it was fully reserved for a private celebration. We headed up to Malang instead, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. ✨ WHAT'S IN THIS VIDEO The Courtyard by Marriott, Nerul lobby and a walk through the property Malang's interiors: jaali screens, warm hanging lights, a stylish bar and a live performance stage Live Indian classical music and soulful ghazals The table setting: rose-gold cutlery, patterned crockery, fine glassware and brass napkin rings Complimentary papads with three dips, including a fresh four-apple fruit dip Tamatar Dhania Shorba Paneer Tikka Masala with Paneer and Aloo Kulchas Service, hospitality and my final verdict 🍽️ WHAT WE ORDERED Complimentary papads with mint chutney, sour cream and a fruit dip made with pineapple, green apple, yellow apple and red apple Tamatar Dhania Shorba: fresh and aromatic, with the coriander coming through beautifully Paneer Tikka Masala: a rich, nuanced gravy with melt-in-the-mouth paneer Paneer and Aloo Kulchas: expertly baked, remarkably soft and authentic, nothing like the typical commercial versions ⭐ MY VERDICT Malang gets a 10 out of 10 from me. Exceptional food, a royal ambience and excellent hospitality make it a must-visit for top-tier dining in Navi Mumbai. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW Since the hotel is right beside D.Y. Patil Stadium, do book in advance during IPL season. Malang is on the fifth floor of the hotel.
