Building a CONSERVATION CREDIT Farm in Planet Zoo 2!

Can breeding NILE MONITORS help us earn Conservation Credits in Planet Zoo 2?! 🦎💰🌿 Welcome back to Episode 10 of our Planet Zoo 2 Franchise Mode Africa series! Today, we're welcoming the incredible Nile Monitor to our growing zoo! But this isn't just another habitat build — we're creating a breeding habitat with TWO important goals in mind! First, we want to breed Nile Monitors to help us earn more Conservation Credits, allowing us to continue expanding our Franchise Zoo and bring in even more incredible animals! Secondly, we're hoping to prepare suitable release groups so that some of our Nile Monitors can eventually be reintroduced into our Wildlife Reserve! Of course, we'll also be building a natural-looking enclosure with water, rocky areas, vegetation and everything our Nile Monitors need to stay happy and healthy! 🦎 *WHAT WE'RE DOING IN THIS EPISODE: 🏗️ Building a natural-looking Nile Monitor habitat 🌊 Creating a large water area for swimming and exploring 🪨 Adding rocks, vegetation and natural habitat details 🥚 Setting up a Nile Monitor breeding population 💰 Working towards earning more Conservation Credits 🌍 Preparing animals for future Wildlife Reserve release groups 🐾 Checking animal welfare, habitat and breeding requirements 🌿 Expanding our African Franchise Zoo! 🦎 AMAZING NILE MONITOR FACTS! 🌍 WHERE THEY LIVE Nile Monitors (Varanus niloticus) are native to large parts of sub-Saharan Africa, commonly inhabiting rivers, lakes, wetlands and other areas close to water. 📏 IMPRESSIVE SIZE Nile Monitors are among Africa's largest lizards! Adults can exceed 2 metres in total length, including their powerful tails. 🌊 EXCELLENT SWIMMERS These reptiles are strong swimmers and can spend considerable time underwater. Their muscular tails help propel them through the water. 🥚 EGG-LAYING REPTILES Female Nile Monitors lay eggs, sometimes using termite mounds as nesting sites. The temperature and humidity of the nest help support egg development. 🐟 OPPORTUNISTIC HUNTERS Nile Monitors have a varied diet that includes fish, crustaceans, insects, amphibians, eggs and other small animals. 👅 INCREDIBLE SENSES Like other monitor lizards, Nile Monitors use their forked tongues and Jacobson's organs to detect chemical information in their surroundings, helping them locate food. 🌿 IMPORTANT PREDATORS Nile Monitors play an important ecological role in their natural habitats by feeding on a wide variety of animals and scavenging when opportunities arise. 🌍 ABOUT OUR PLANET ZOO 2 FRANCHISE SERIES Welcome to our African Franchise Zoo in Planet Zoo 2!
