I Wasn’t Going to Buy Yarn… | Melbourne Yarn Shop Visit

Come yarn shopping with me in Melbourne! 🧶 In this episode of Our Island Home, I’m taking you along for a beautiful winter’s day in Melbourne as I visit two yarn stores — Wondoflex and Morris & Sons — for a little yarn browsing (and, inevitably, some yarn shopping!). I went in with good intentions, especially since I’m trying to work through my existing yarn stash, but there were just too many beautiful yarns to resist. Back home, I share everything I bought, including some gorgeous fingering-weight yarns in cotton, alpaca, silk and Australian merino. I also chat about what I’m planning to make with them, including my next colourwork sweater cast-on and a few delicate summer tops and camisoles I’m considering. I’ll also be sharing some upcoming episodes where I dive into my yarn stash, look at what I already have, and start matching those yarns with future knitting projects.
