The Past Doesn't Ask Permission | Ghosts Don't Knock | Dark Country

Some ghosts don't haunt you. They just pull up a chair and wait. Ghosts Don't Knock is a Dark Country / Americana song about a man who stopped running from his past. The father who never said the words. The friend he didn't call back in time. The younger version of himself who stares at what he became. He used to think time would bury them. Or the whiskey would. But you can't outrun a shadow when it's wearing your own face. So now, when they walk in, he doesn't hide. He pours them a drink, and they sit together till dawn. "Ghosts don't knock, they walk right in Take the chair where you have been." 🎵 Ghosts Don't Knock 🎙️ Blackwood Saints Genre: Dark Country / Americana Blackwood Saints creates original Dark Country songs built around stories of regret, love, loss, memory and the choices that shape who we become.
