Featuring music by RÜFÜS DU SOL, Yotto, Ben Böhmer and more, this mix captures a quieter, more atmospheric side of Lake Bled — far from the busiest tourist viewpoints. We had been scouting this location for months. We came back to Lake Bled several times, walked around the lake, climbed up to Ojstrica, searched for viewpoints and tried to understand where the set would actually work on camera. During summer we attempted to film here more than once, but the weather around the Alps can change incredibly fast — clouds and rain would suddenly roll in and completely change the view. Finally, on October 1, everything came together. A warm autumn day, clear water, golden trees and soft evening light. We spent almost the entire day around Lake Bled filming the life of the lake and looking for the best perspectives before setting up near Belvedere for the final golden-hour performance. Lake Bled is probably the most recognizable destination in Slovenia, famous for its small island in the middle of the lake and the church rising above the water. Most visitors see it from the classic tourist viewpoints. For this video, I wanted to show another side of Bled — calmer, more intimate and closer to the feeling of actually being there. And yes — filming here comes with its own price. Parking near the lake can cost around €7.50 per hour, so apparently this is also one of the most expensive places in Slovenia to spend an entire day scouting a DJ set. But when the light finally looked like this, it was worth it.
