The Mombasa MICE Declaration during the Africa MICE Summit 2026 With Kezy Mukiri

Africa's MICE industry has adopted the Mombasa MICE Declaration 2026, a framework that sets out five priorities for the sector. The declaration was adopted at the close of the ninth Africa MICE Summit & Awards, held on 1 and 2 October at the Tembo International Convention Centre in Mombasa, Kenya. The pillars cover investment, infrastructure and destination competitiveness; people, talent and professionalism; innovation, technology and sustainability; global market access; and collaboration within and across Africa. Summit convener Kezy Mukiri said the declaration moves the industry from conversation to coordinated action.
