I´m sharing with you the recipe I used for the Spanish Bread. 😊 🇵🇭 Filipino Spanish Bread — 10–12 pieces Dough 2 cups flour 405 ¼ cup sugar 1 tsp salt 1½ tsp instant dry yeast ½ cup warm milk 1 egg 3 tbsp butter, softened 1–2 tbsp water or milk, only if needed Filling 3 tbsp butter, softened ½ cup brown sugar ¼ cup breadcrumbs 2 tbsp flour 405 2 tbsp milk 1 tbsp melted butter 1 tbsp sugar Method 1. Make the dough: Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add warm milk and egg. Mix until a dough forms. 2. Add the softened butter and knead for 8–10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. With 405 flour, the dough may be a little soft and sticky—don’t add too much flour. 3. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size. 4. Make the filling: Mix the butter, brown sugar, breadcrumbs, flour, milk, melted butter, and sugar until you have a thick, spreadable paste. 5. Divide the dough into 10–12 equal pieces. 6. Roll each piece into a thin oval/rectangle. Spread a little filling over it, leaving the edges mostly clear. 7. Roll it up tightly from one end, then place seam-side down on a lined baking tray. 8. Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes. 9. Brush lightly with milk or beaten egg. 10. Bake at 175°C / 350°F for about 15–20 minutes, until lightly golden. #lifestylevlog #bakingvlog #cookingvlog #filipinofood #germanylife #filipinoingermany #homecooking #homebodyvlog
