STORY OF SEASONS: Your Wonderful Life Gameplay Trailer

After previously being introduced through a general concept at TGS alongside the announcement of Meta VR Glasses, Marvelous has finally revealed the first gameplay trailer for STORY OF SEASONS: Your Wonderful Life. This new project brings the experience of farming and living in the STORY OF SEASONS world into VR. Just like STORY OF SEASONS: A Wonderful Life, you’ll once again live your life in Forgotten Valley. From taking care of your fields, raising cows and sheep, and shipping your crops to interacting with the various residents around town. Other activities such as fishing, mining, and completing requests from the villagers are also part of your daily life. You can even build relationships with the people around you and eventually find someone special to share your life with in Forgotten Valley. But the most interesting part is obviously how the game is played. STORY OF SEASONS: Your Wonderful Life supports full hand tracking, allowing you to play the entire game without a controller, whether in first-person or third-person perspective. You can use your hands directly to perform various activities, including opening buildings or selecting areas of your farm simply by moving your fingers. Some activities also feature special minigames designed around direct hand interaction, such as milking cows and shearing sheep. Activities that were previously handled through button presses can now feel much more interactive and immersive within the VR world. You can even directly pick up and carry your own child. STORY OF SEASONS: Your Wonderful Life is being developed by Marvelous and Grounding Inc. and is scheduled to launch in Spring 2027 for Meta VR Glasses, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest 3S.
