What is it like living alone in Vietnam with no job and no friends? Hi, I’m Alex, a 34-year-old single man, and I live alone in Hanoi. In this vlog, I take you along for a normal day in my life — cooking rice for the day, preparing food for the week, making braised pork, having a simple lunch, and heading to the supermarket to buy groceries. When you live alone, you learn to take care of yourself, manage your money, cook your own meals, and find meaning in the small routines of everyday life. I grew up in a farming family in rural northern Vietnam. Now, after years of working and going through many changes in my career, I find myself starting over again.
