Coronation Street: Linda Baldwin Scenes - Episode 246

Linda talks about how she last saw Dean three years ago when he was fourteen (so in 1997). She can't believe he's done this, it was Jimmy who got into trouble. Not him. Mike tells her to face facts, he grew up into a young thug. Linda calls her dad offscreen. She says he's not thinking straight and explains she left the family. So did her mum. Mike offends her by suggesting they did the right thing. Karen comes round to give her comfort as Linda admits she blames herself for leaving Dean. Jimmy himself and her father Ray come round. They both seem to disaprove of Mike. Ray is the more calmer. Mike gets fed up of hearing them make excuses for Dean and basically says he brought it on himself. Linda has to get them out as she placates Jimmy. Promising Ray to call him soon. 13th October 2000.
