GRIFFITH’S PLAN IS GENIUS… OR MADNESS | *Berserk* 1x15 “The Decisive Battle” | REACTION |

Berserk Season 1 Episode 15 Reaction! Watching Berserk (1997) S1E15 “The Decisive Battle” for the first time - as Guts, Griffith and Casca face the battle for Doldrey. In this episode, Griffith leads the Band of the Hawk against a seemingly impregnable fortress, putting his ambition and his soldiers’ lives on the line. Taking Doldrey could change the war for Midland, but standing in their way are powerful enemy forces and the feared Purple Rhino Knights. As Guts faces General Boscogn on the battlefield, Casca takes on a crucial role in Griffith’s strategy. The battle brings together the strength, leadership and trust that have carried the Hawks this far - with far more at stake than another military victory. Join me for my blind reaction and episode discussion as we continue through the Golden Age arc of Kentaro Miura’s dark fantasy anime. From Guts’ fighting ability to Griffith’s growing ambition and Casca’s leadership, there’s plenty to unpack in this chapter of their journey.
