MinnMax's Summer Game Fest Travelogue 2024

Ben Hanson and Janet Garcia welcome MinnMax's video editor Charles Harte to his first game industry event with a whirlwind weekend at Summer Game Fest 2024. MinnMax's community on Patreon is the reason we're able to attend the event, so we thought it only fair to share the entire experience with them in this travelogue. Watch us check out games at the show and run into folks like Michael Huber from Easy Allies, Blessing Adeoye Jr. from Kinda Funny, Geoff Keighley, Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang, Dan Ryckert from Giant Bomb, and a whole lot more. Unlock the extended, 7-hour version of this video by supporting MinnMax on Patreon before Tuesday, June 18th 2024 and we'll DM you a Steam or Xbox code.   / minnmax   To jump to a particular discussion, check out the timestamps below... 00:00:00 - Intro 00:01:10 - Summer Game Fest Showcase 00:03:25 - The Mix via Guerrilla Collective 00:04:09 - Dinner 00:05:11 - Recording at Giant Bomb 00:07:31 - Heading back to the hotel 00:08:40 - Day 1: Summer Game Fest 00:19:09 - Wrapping up Day1/XBOX Mixer 00:21:06 - XBOX Showcase 00:24:28 - Day 2: Summer Game Fest 00:26:37 - Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed Shadows 00:27:41 - The MinnMax Community Meetup 00:31:30 - Giant Bomb Afterparty 00:32:11 - The supersonic drive back to the hotel 00:33:50 - Day 3: Summer Game Fest 00:40:33 - Game Informer Dinner 00:41:48 - Hanging out at Janet's place 00:48:28 - In Conclusion...
