Bon Jovi | Live at Heineken Music Hall | HD Remaster | Amsterdam 2005

Originally having been announced as "Europe's largest listening party", fans were probably expecting the band to play more new album cuts instead of adding three to the setlist of which two had already premiered before. I very much remember that show because it was around the time I really became a fan and a friend recorded a 30-minute segment of it that was shown on the German satellite channel VIVA2 at the time. The first minute or a portion of Last Man Standing was originally patched with a different source since the satellite feed wasn't grabbed at that moment. And also to clear up a misconception that's been around: This full feed wasn't catured in HD, so the full high definition version probably only exists in the band's vault, if at all. So this was a HD restoration from the SD source, done in a similar way to the recent Yokohama 1996 premiere. Again big thanks to my buddy novo85 for his collaboration on this! The audio was a matrix from the broadcast feed and an audience recording. The advantage certainly was a stronger live feeling since the audience response (like in Bad Name) is more audible, the problem was like an oversaturation of frequencies, essentially leading to a (rather dull) wall of sound that a certain someone would have been proud of I guess. It was carefully spread out and certain "frequency holes" were created to give it all a bit more room and definition. Audio and video remastered! Setlist: 01. Last Man Standing [0:00] 02. You Give Love A Bad Name [5:23] 03. Livin' On A Prayer [9:13] 04. Jon greeting audience [14:37] 05. Born To Be My Baby [15:15] 06. Jon introducing new album and single [20:51] 07.
