I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A GETAWAY…😩😩😩|| STAYCATION VLOG AND ALL THE EMOTIONS IN BETWEEN ✌️❤️

After a successful Singles Conference, the Interface Community Directorate decided that we had earned a little break; and honestly, I don’t think we realised just how much we needed it. This staycation was everything. 🥹 It was laughter upon laughter, good food, random conversations, plenty of rest, gist, and just being present with people who somehow make everything feel lighter. There was no pressure to do anything. We just existed, ate, laughed, rested, and enjoyed each other’s company. Now, I won’t lie, my cramps definitely tried to ruin my enjoyment at some point 😭, and I wasn’t feeling as great as I would have loved to. But somehow, even that couldn’t take away from how beautiful the whole experience was. And I think what made it even more special for me was the people. These are the kind of people who walk into a place and light it up without even trying. The kind of people that make you laugh until your stomach hurts, make ordinary moments feel memorable, and remind you how beautiful community can be. By Sunday, when it was time to leave, I genuinely wasn’t ready. I even shed a tear or two off-camera because… why did we have to go home already? 😭😂 Looking back at this staycation, I realise it wasn’t just about getting away for a few days. It was about rest. It was about laughter. It was about friendship, community, and creating memories that I know I’ll look back on and smile. A huge thank you to our President for organising such a beautiful staycation for us. You really gave us something to remember. 🤍 I honestly wish I could go back in time and experience it all over again.
