Exploring three train layouts - Two-Rail O, Three-Rail O, and HO | RSME open house Part 2 of 3

I visited the Reading Society of Model Engineers on the first day of their two-day Holiday Frosty Run open house. The club has a large building that houses several model railroads. The upstairs two-rail O gauge railroad is the largest and most impressive. Each train takes a full 18 minutes to make a full loop around the layout which depicts rural and small town life in Pennsylvania. Downstairs is a smaller three-rail O gauge railroad more reminiscent of traditional “toy train” layouts. Lastly there’s a newer HO layout which is still under construction.
