In today’s DIY tutorial, I’m showing you how to upcycle a simple glass bottle and leftover fabric scraps into a unique rustic, vintage-inspired decorative piece! This easy glass bottle makeover is a budget-friendly DIY project that uses simple materials you may already have at home. For this recycled glass bottle craft, I first painted the bottle with acrylic paint. Then, I cut leftover cotton and rustic-style fabric scraps into small 3 x 3 cm pieces and attached them to the middle section of the bottle with wood glue. After layering the fabric pieces, I covered the entire decorated area with another layer of glue to seal and strengthen the design. Finally, I used brown paint to create an aged, distressed, antique-inspired finish.
