Original molding kept throughout, original front door, original windows. Red Oak hardwoods on both floors. Quartz counters in the kitchen and laundry, gas cooktop, double ovens, farm sink, brick backsplash, cabinets to the ceiling. Tall ceilings in the primary — taller than you usually get in these — plus a walk-in shower with a double head and a real walk-in closet with built-ins, neither of which existed in 1904. Four bedrooms and two full baths upstairs, all with the original ceiling detail. Freshly painted exterior, in good shape all the way around. WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY IN THE HISTORIC DISTRICT: Most homes on these streets don't have garages, including this one — you park in back and come in through the mudroom. Windows usually can't be replaced if you want to keep your designation. And the things that actually cost money in a hundred-year-old house are foundation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and roof.
