He Escaped a Massacre and Built an Empire From Nothing | Kashaf TV

Only one man was left alive. When the Abbasids slaughtered every prince of the mighty Umayyad dynasty, a twenty-year-old fled into the night — hunted across deserts, rivers, and mountains, with assassins closing in at every turn. He had no army. No throne. No home. Just a name the world was trying to erase. His name was Abd al-Rahman. For years he ran — through Palestine, Egypt, and the deserts of North Africa — surviving on nothing but will and blood-ties to distant tribes. While the world assumed the Umayyad line was extinguished forever, this lone survivor was quietly gathering loyal men in the shadows. Then he crossed the sea. In Al-Andalus — modern-day Spain — Abd al-Rahman did not just find refuge. He built an empire. Within years, the boy who fled a massacre had crowned himself the first Emir of Córdoba, founding a dynasty that would rule for nearly three centuries and turn Córdoba into one of the greatest cities on Earth — the birthplace of the legendary Great Mosque of Córdoba. This is the story of "Saqr Quraish" — The Falcon of the Quraysh. The prince who was supposed to die… and instead built a civilization. ⚔️ Watch till the end to see how one man's survival changed the map of the Islamic world forever.
