Fairbanks to Denali National Park | Amazing Alaska Road Trip & Husky dog Show

Please join me on another exciting Alaska adventure as we travel by road from Fairbanks to Denali National Park, enjoying beautiful scenery, interesting roadside attractions and unforgettable experiences along the way. Our journey takes us north from Fairbanks toward the spectacular wilderness of Denali, for about 128 miles with scenic views of Alaska's forests, rivers, mountains and small communities. Along the way, we make an interesting stopover at Tatlanika to explore historic wooden buildings, an old aircraft, gift shop and a traditional Alaska fish wheel. As we continue toward Denali, the scenery becomes increasingly spectacular. We enjoy the changing landscape, rivers, forests and distant mountain views before finally arriving at Holland America Denali Lodge, located near the entrance to Denali National Park. After checking in, we explore Denali town and wonderful Alaskan husky sled dog show. We get an up-close look at these energetic dogs and learn about the important role sled dogs have played in Alaska's history and wilderness travel. In the next episode, we will visit the Denali National Park Visitor Center and then venture deep into the spectacular wilderness of Denali National Park by bus, looking for breathtaking landscapes and Alaska's amazing wildlife.
