Ride 165 km from Berlin into the Oderbruch and back — the first full route on Virtual Cycling Germany. This is a real ride, filmed in 4K on a warm day in mid-May: out of Berlin over the Barnim plateau, north to Bad Freienwalde, down into the Oderbruch — Germany's largest reclaimed polder, where the road drops to sea level — and back through the lakes and pine forest of Strausberg and Köpenick. Empty country roads, poppy fields, big skies, and about 660 m of climbing spread over the Barnim hills. No talking. No music. Just the road, the wind and a live telemetry overlay with speed, distance, riding time and map tracking. ▶ Perfect as a companion video for your smart trainer, or alongside Zwift, Rouvy, Kinomap and Tacx. 📍 ROUTE Berlin-Treptow → Ahrensfelde → Werneuchen → Barnim plateau → Falkenberg (Mark) → Bad Freienwalde → Wriezen → Oderbruch → Strausberg → Müggelsee → Köpenick → Berlin 📊 RIDE DATA Distance: 165 km Elevation gain: ~660 m Highest point: 123 m (Barnim, near Falkenberg) Lowest point: 0 m — sea level, in the Oderbruch polder Region: Berlin & Brandenburg, Germany 🚴 HOW TO USE IT Put it on a screen in front of your trainer, press play and ride.
