Lima is giving BTS’ first-ever Peru concert an official city celebration. The Santiago de Surco district has temporarily renamed Sacramento Street “BTS Boulevard,” or Avenida BTS, for one week during the group’s concerts in the Peruvian capital. BTS is scheduled to perform at Estadio San Marcos on July 7, 9, and 10 local time, marking the group’s first concert in Peru since debuting in 2013. The tribute extends beyond the temporary street name: Surco Friendship Park’s Arco Morisco has been illuminated in purple, with BTS-themed light shows planned through July 11. Lima’s Magic Water Circuit is also hosting a BTS-themed event featuring music, lights, and water-screen elements. This video looks at how the city is turning a tour stop into a public celebration and why the group’s first Peru performances carry special significance for local ARMY. #BTS #BTSPeru #BTSLima #AvenidaBTS #BTSBoulevard #BTSARIRANG #BTSWorldTour #BTSConcert #ARMY #PeruARMY #Lima #EstadioSanMarcos #BTSNews #KpopNews #BigHitMusic
