Ukulele Practice 2026: “New York, New York”

On October 10th, I’ll be teaching a workshop in NYC (for the @bigappleukulele mini uke fest) on “New York, New York” (1977), which was written for Liza Minnelli by John Kander and Fred Ebb, for the Scorsese musical film of the same name. I have had a lot of fun putting together a somewhat simplified uke arrangement with two key changes and the original lyrics Liza sang (some might know Sinatra’s version better, but he changed the lyrics), but I probably will also share a more simplified version with no key change. — SUPPORT: You can support my making more ukulele content by subscribing at any level (including the free level) on Patreon.
