Our B58 swapped E24 ran into another problem...

We thought we were finally ready for the first drive… but reality hit. In this episode, we finish updating the oil filter housing on the E24 B58 build and start getting everything dialed in for what should’ve been a big milestone its first drive. But just as things start coming together, we uncover an issue with the transmission bearings that we can’t ignore. Parts are on order, but with a 2+ week wait (and possibly longer), the build is forced to pause… for now. That’s the reality of building something like this, progress isn’t always linear. While we wait, we’re shifting focus back to the engine side to keep momentum going and continue refining the setup. This is what it really looks like behind the scenes: No shortcuts. No rushed work.
