The TRAGIC Decline of Video Game Rentals

Let's take a side-scrolling look down memory lane as we discuss the evolution of video game rentals. Beginning from the time video games exited the arcades and entered living rooms; with home consoles like the Atari 2600. We’ll travel through the decades as the video game industry bumped heads; and occasionally even joined hands with the likes of Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. Theirs is a history filled with lawsuits against Nintendo, team-ups, and a failed Sega console launch which eventually met its match at the hands of Netflix, Xbox Live and the rise of internet streaming. So, where did you go to rent games? Did you ever have that game you rented once, twice or even more?
