The first ZANU man to tell Robert Mugabe "NO"

Discover the story of Edgar Tekere, the man who dared to challenge Robert Mugabe. Once one of Mugabe’s closest allies, Tekere becomes a fierce critic of corruption, opposes Zimbabwe’s proposed one-party state, and challenges the ruling party, ZANU's growing political dominance. In 1990, he takes his fight directly to Mugabe in a presidential election that tests the limits of political opposition in post-independence Zimbabwe. This documentary explores the rise, defiance, and legacy of a controversial liberation hero who refused to remain silent.
