From the stage of Koncerto 2025, the GNAAS-KNUST Choir presents “Yesu Wɔ Adwuma” — a powerful choral declaration of the ever-active work of Christ. This piece is a first-of-its-kind arrangement by our Music Department, crafted to bring together rich Ghanaian musical expression and structured choral artistry in a deeply spiritual experience. “Yesu Wɔ Adwuma” speaks to the reality that: Jesus has work specially assigned to every single one of us. A calling to go, to preach, to share His love, and to live out the gospel in our everyday lives. Musically, “Yesu Wɔ Adwuma” is set in a moderate Andantino tempo (♩ = 100), creating a reflective yet forward-moving atmosphere that mirrors the continuous work of Jesus. The arrangement features a full SATB choral texture, with layered harmonies that move between homophonic unity and expressive melodic independence across voices. As the harmonies build and the voices intertwine, the message becomes clear: Do not delay. Do not grow weary.
