The sirens were lit off right at 1, and did the usual test. It was much calmer today than it was last month, and you can hear just about every Whelen in the entire Mankato area after the siren shuts off. You can still hear some Whelens doing voice almost 15 seconds after the one I'm at shuts off! On another note, this video marks the debut of my new external microphone! There will still be A LOT of videos uploaded after this that still feature the stock audio from either my PowerShot or Sony since I am so backed up, but expect a huge improvement after that! I should note, the city of North Mankato itself is in Nicollet County, however their sirens are activated by neighboring Blue Earth County (which also houses the much larger city of Mankato).
