The Catacomb Abyss (DOS Game) 1992-Full playthrough

The Catacomb Abyss is a fantasy themed retro DOS game. Published in 1992 by SoftDisk and designed by Greg Malone. In this fantasy first person shooter; you play as Petton Everhail, a high wizard who is tasked with taking down an old rival called Nemesis. The game takes him through numerous levels such as The Towne Cemetery, Garden of Tears, Mausoleum and The Fiery Gates of Hell. You are armed with magic spells that come out through your hands to defeat your foes. I really enjoyed this game as a kid and even now. I love the fantasy elements and the vast array of enemies. There are some cool features such as the egg timers that freeze time, allowing you to prepare for battle by casting spells directly in front of enemies while they are immobile. Although it is really annoying that, if you are not careful, you can accidently shoot pick-ups. The game is relatively easy even in the hardest setting (Warrior) especially because you can heal yourself with the purple potions, of which there are plenty found throughout the game. In this video I play through all 15 levels in Warrior Mode.
