How Asajj Ventress Changed During the Clone Wars

Asajj Ventress began the Clone Wars as one of Count Dooku’s most dangerous assassins. But by the end of her story, she had become something completely different. In this video, we follow the evolution of Asajj Ventress from her early life on Dathomir and training under Jedi Knight Ky Narec, through her years serving Count Dooku, his eventual betrayal, her return to the Nightsisters, and the destruction of the family she had finally found again. After losing nearly everything that had once defined her, Ventress began working as a bounty hunter and slowly started making choices for herself rather than serving another master. That change eventually led her to one of the most unexpected moments of her story: helping Ahsoka Tano after the Jedi Order turned against her. We also explore Ventress’s relationship with Quinlan Vos, her struggle between the light and dark sides of the Force, her sacrifice, and the person she ultimately became beyond the Clone Wars.
