Trip Report: Go-Around Due to Wind Shear! | Air Canada Rouge A321 | Curaçao - Toronto | CUR - YYZ

Hello and welcome back to another Trip Report! Today, I’m bringing you the first of two flights back from Curaçao to Chicago, this time via Toronto with an overnight layover. While I booked this flight with Air Canada, it was actually operated by the leisure subsidiary: Air Canada Rouge. This was on an economy-heavy A321, which wasn’t as uncomfortable as I thought. I was slightly disappointed in the service. However, it’s what should be expected on a budget-oriented airline. The big excitement of the night was our go-around, which came due to wind shear at YYZ. Luckily, we made it down safely on our second attempt and only took a half-hour delay. I’ll return to Air Canada again on my next Trip Report, so stay tuned for that!
