(Odd Footpath Crossing) Wareham Level Crossing, Dorset

Wareham (Footpath) Level Crossing on the South Western Main Line Location: (Next to) Sandford Lane, Wareham Postcode: BH20 4PB Date Filmed: 17/08/2024 Video Filmed at 16:45 Nearest Stations: Wareham (The Closest One) and Hamworthy Trains: Class 444 012 (South Western Railway) Class 444 007 (South Western Railway) A very rare footpath crossing located near the centre of Wareham. The MWLs still remain the same apart from the actual lights inside have been replaced with LEDs. Additionally, more black fencing has been installed more around the crossing. A new alarm was installed here, replacing the other one (The Alarm closest to the roundabout on Bere Road). In the video, after the first train passed the lights changed back to green but the gates didn’t open because the other train was 3 mins before departing to pass through here. The gates did open after the second train passed because next train(s) wasn’t for next 20 mins. Thanks for Watching!
