Hudson Bay - Pincher Creek

Kootenai Brown Historical Park has produced a 10 part oral history video series entitled “Village People” highlighting Pincher Creek residents and heritage buildings preserved at the park. These videos can be seen on YouTube on the newly created Kootenai Brown Historical Park page. The earliest national department store to operate in Pincher Creek was that of the Hudson’s Bay Company. One of the oldest companies in Canada, its local history in town dates back to 1886 and spanned more than a quarter century of frontier chronicles. This video portages you onto Hudson Bay history. Hearing the voices of many perspectives of its journey.
