Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie

This week on Anime Club, Kris and Pheebs step into the ring with Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie (1994)! We’re talking flying fists, familiar fighters and a surprising bit of casting: Bryan Cranston as the English voice of Fei Long. Before Breaking Bad, he was breaking out the martial arts! We also get into how M. Bison got his name and the confusing name swap involving Bison, Balrog and Vega. But beyond the trivia, does this video game adaptation still pack a punch? Join us as we share our thoughts and decide whether it’s a knockout or a game over. Who’s your favourite Street Fighter character? Let us know in the comments, and subscribe for more Anime Club!
