The Wells Beach Maine January 13 2024 storm brought some of the worst devestation our generation has ever seen on Wells Beach or more specifically Crescent beach which can be found off of Webhannet Drive. The tide was up over 12 feet and the on short winds were strong. As a result, the beaches in Wells saw very high surf with waves that slammed into sea walls and did tremendous damage to many homes. This video shows footage of the storm at it's peak and the majority of the video is on the aftermath. The focus was on the destruction along Webhannet Drive Wells Maine in the Fisherman's cove and Crescent Beach area.
