Akeem Ali On Strip Club Adventures, Andre 3000 Comparisons, & Tour Tix Prices | The Morning Hustle

Akeem Ali joins The Morning Hustle to break down Texture Tape 3, his time in Afghanistan, and why he calls himself the greatest rapper alive. From a Magic City hustle with Lou Williams to a viral 85 South freestyle, the Jackson, Mississippi native holds nothing back. Inside the conversation: Lou Williams and Magic City: How Ali met the former NBA star through a mutual barber, and why he quietly stashed half the cash Lou gave him to throw so he could pay his bills. The Jill Scott tour: Why he turned down an offer to tour with Jill Scott, and what happened when he tried to double back. Afghanistan and PTSD: Ali recalls the ground shaking from incoming missiles and explains how military service taught him discipline and emotional control. He also talks working with Ciara, Muni Long dating rumors, his Top 10 rappers list, and the Andre 3000 debate. Who belongs in your Top 10?
