Regarded as a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva, Baba Bhukund Bhairav is considered the protector of the Kedar Valley, safeguarding this entire sacred land during the six 🏔️winter months when the temple portals remain closed. According to tradition, a special worship of Bhairav Baba is mandatorily performed before the opening of the Kedarnath Dham portals, and there is a firm belief among devotees that a pilgrimage to Kedarnath remains incomplete without seeking the blessings of Bhukund Bhairav Baba.🙏🏻
