Ethiopian Airlines Airbus A350-1000 (ET-BAX) ✈️: Flight from London Heathrow to Addis Ababa

FLIGHT INFORMATION: Airline: Ethiopian Airlines Aircraft: Airbus A350-1000 Registration: ET-BAX Flight Duration: 7 Hours Seat: 48A Flight Number: ET701 Flight Route: (LHR) London Heathrow (EGLL) to (ADD) Addis Ababa (HAAB) Departure Time: 22:30 (BST) Arrival Time: 07:30 (UTC + 3:00) Date: 12th - 13th July 2026 We were supposed to travel on British Airways flight BA59 from London Heathrow to Cape Town departing on 10th July however due to a technical problem with the aircraft (also an Airbus A350-1000) which could not be rectified before the 12AM take-off curfew at Heathrow, the flight got cancelled and we were rebooked with Ethiopian Airlines via Addis Ababa departing on 12th July. The technical fault occurred after the aircraft returned to service following maintenance in Bordeaux and LHR-CPT was meant to be the first passenger flight following this return to service. This video features the first flight of this rebooking, LHR-ADD. We did eventually make it to Cape Town, but more than 50 hours later than originally planned.
