JMJ Safeguarding Anthem # JMJ Safeguarding Commission

Lyrics Anthem of JMJ Safeguarding Commission Prelude In God’s own image, I am wonderfully made, With dignity and worth that will never fade. I am a child of light, precious in His sight, Worthy of love, and care that is bright. Stanza 1 No matter the shadow, no matter the pain, Abuse in any form is a heavy, dark chain. I do not deserve the hurt or the fear, I deserve to be safe, with peace always near. Chorus I carry the courage to stand and be free, For hope is the light that is shining in me. With hands held together, we walk in the way, To keep every child safe, starting today. Stanza 3 I have trusted people with whom I can share, Who listen with kindness and show that they care. To the JMJ Commission, my story I’ll bring, To safeguard my dignity, under their wing.
