I Went Fishing Alone… I Didn't Expect This!

Sometimes a dad just needs a little time out… a fishing rod, a boat and absolutely nobody asking him for snacks. 😂🎣 In this episode of Salty Sons, Sam heads out for a solo fishing adventure off the beautiful NSW coast of Australia. No boys, no chaos, just a bloke, the ocean and a plan to catch some decent fish. Well… that was the plan. Instead, there's an unbelievable encounter with whales, some incredible marine life, a drone mishap, more banjo sharks than anyone could possibly want and, thankfully, one beautiful snapper! But somewhere between the laughs, the fishing and the breathtaking ocean, this trip becomes about something much bigger. Sam opens up about losing his younger brother Zach in a shark attack, his complicated relationship with the ocean and what it means to be a dad raising boys who love the water just as much as he does. It's raw, it's real, it's a little ridiculous at times, and it's a reminder that sometimes the best adventures aren't about what you catch — they're about what you take home with you.
