The cremation ceremony for the 28-year-old Punjabi rapper, whose real name is Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was held on May 31, 2022, two days after he was shot and killed. Canadian-based gangster Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for his death. Police initially linked Moose Wala’s murder to an inter-gang rivalry, but later clarified that the singer was not a “gangster or affiliated with gangsters”.
