I recently became aware of how devastating cancer is in teenagers, and it's changed my heart. When this journey began, I realized that I would never understand what it is like to have cancer, but I knew that the closest I could get to understanding was to shave my hair. I donated 20 inches to Locks of Love, and my hair will go towards making a wig for a kid with cancer. I will never know the person that receives my hair, but how amazing is it to know that my hair will bring hope and beauty back to someone fighting for their life. To anyone who has had cancer, is currently battling cancer, or has loved ones with cancer- this is for you. You are honored and supported, and you will never know how your courage has inspired me. What is cool is that everyone can stand beside me to make a dent in cancer. On January 27, 2013, from 6pm-9pm, at The System, there will be a hair donation event called Share Your Hair. This is an opportunity for you to come donate a minimum of 10 inches of hair that will go directly to Locks of Love to make wigs for teenagers and children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. This is a free event because I want people to come and donate. For more information visit:   / shareyourhairinfo
