Elden Ring RL1: Promised Consort Radahn (Melee only)

Equipment used is shown at the end of the video. Alright, I have a lot to write about this asshole. The run you're seeing was done on PC, because I swear this fight is 10x harder on console (Xbox specifically) because of the frame drops. I spent like 8+ hours on this fight on console before finally killing him, yet I did it TWICE on PC within 4 tries. The first time I wasn't recording, so I had to do it again. My PC is able to run the game better than my xbox can, so I literally bought the DLC a 2nd time just to do this fight. As for the fight, I actually enjoy a lot of it, but like many other people, the 1-2-cross slash attack is utter bullshit. Similar to Waterfowl/Metyr laser, no attack should require certain equipment or super precise positioning (or light load) to dodge. I resorted to using the deflect hardtear to deflect the first swing, then dodge the next two. I also had enough armor/defense to tank a hit of the cross slash in phase 1 (and sometimes phase 2 depending on light beams). Other than that attack, I really dislike the ambiguity of the phase 2 nuke when he gets down to 25% or so health. I had a run on console where he started that attack, I ran to the opposite side of the arena like I always do, and he for some reason landed right next to me. Thankfully, I killed him on console the same night I recorded this run on PC, so I at least have the complete RL1 save file there. This was also the only boss fight where I resorted to using Godrick's Great Rune, since I felt like I needed that little extra bit of damage to finish the fight a little faster. Being on PC helped with that as well since I didn't have to farm for them. I'm happy I finally finished this run since now it can stop taking up so much of my time lol. TL;DR - TWITCH DROPS HERE!!!
