Second Pyramid - The Weight of Knowing (Official Visualizer)

The Weight of Knowing is a progressive alternative metal track exploring the relationship between knowledge, strength, and responsibility. Power gives us the ability to change the world. Wisdom teaches us when we should. With driving guitar riffs, powerful melodic vocals, and an explosive chorus, this song explores one of the central philosophies behind Second Pyramid: True strength isn't simply having the power to act. It's having the wisdom to choose. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Artist: Second Pyramid Song: The Weight of Knowing Album: Second Pyramid (2026) Genre: Progressive Alternative Metal / Melodic Hard Rock [Lyrics] I learned to read the warning signs The fault lines underneath the stone I studied every way to win Afraid of standing there alone I built my strength against the world A thousand answers in my head But every truth I uncovered Showed me all the things I'd break Every answer has a price Every choice can change a life And now I see... I could move mountains I could make them fall I could be the answer Or the reason we lose it all Oh, the weight of knowing How far the damage goes It's not the strength to strike It's knowing when to let it go And I know, I know The weight of knowing I've seen what happens when the strong Confuse their hunger with what's right When every truth becomes a weapon And every difference starts a fight There's no honor in destruction No wisdom in a hollow crown But there's a time to stand for something When letting go means letting down Every answer has a price Every choice can change a life And now I see... I could move mountains I could make them fall I could be the answer Or the reason we lose it all Oh, the weight of knowing How far the damage goes It's not the strength to strike It's knowing when to let it go And I know, I know The weight of knowing If I see the danger coming And I turn the other way Am I wise enough to walk away Or just afraid to stay? If I have the strength to change it Then the choice belongs to me Not every fight deserves my anger But some deserve everything I could move mountains! I could make them fall I could be the answer Or the reason we lose it all Oh, the weight of knowing! How far the damage goes It's not the strength to strike It's knowing when to let it go And I know, I know The weight of knowing Knowledge gives me vision Strength gives me a choice And every time I use them I decide what kind of man I am ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Second Pyramid is an independent music project exploring philosophy, personal growth, resilience, and the human experience through alternative rock, progressive metal, and electronic music.
