“One With Him”

(Verse 1) The Son of God came down in love From heaven’s throne to earth below He wore our flesh, He shared our tears And walked the roads of all our fears The Holy One, the great I AM Became like us, the spotless Lamb (Chorus) He became one of us So we could be one with Him He bore our sin, He took our place And drew us near through saving grace The Son of God, the great I AM Became one man to bring us in He became one of us So we could be one with Him (Verse 2) He touched the broken, healed the blind And showed the heart of God so kind Upon the cross, He paid our debt His blood became our hope and rest Then from the grave, He rose in power And lives within us every hour (Bridge) O wondrous love, so rich, so free You came to earth to rescue me You took our nature, bore our shame Now we are yours through Jesus’ name And by Your Spirit, we are raised To live in You and sing Your praise (Final Chorus) He became one of us So we could be one with Him The veil is torn, the way is clear Through Christ our Lord, we’re drawing near The Son of God, the risen Lamb Has brought us home to where He stands He became one of us So we could be one with Him (Outro) One with Him, forevermore One with Him, our hearts restored He became one of us So we could be one with Him
