Meshes Of The Ocean

Ron Ingraham, a charming 97-year-old fisherman from Grand Bruit, Newfoundland recounts events from his long life: his immigration into Canada from Newfoundland, the changes he has seen in the fishing industry and some of the environmental throes he has experienced first hand. Ron also shows us the skill of hand knitting nets, a practice being employed less and less with each passing year and a craft he would like to pass on.
