In this video, we remove the inside hat channel by the pioneer tool indents on the1943 Willys MB tub. Lots of spot weld drilling, cutting, welding, grinding and shrinking.
If you want to learn to restore a WW2 jeep, join us: https://portrayal.tv/yt/263-welcome-t...
We then test fit a new Midwest Military hat channel and get ready for installation.
One note of correction, we talked about the hat channel having drilled holes to facility MIG welding back onto the tub - the holes are punched to ensure consistent location and high quality.
This video is sponsored by John and his crew at Midwest Military - you can find them at www.midwestmilitary.com.
