"Hello, Victoria. So glad to see you, my friend..." I'm now orchestrating the entirety of Dream Theater's 1999 masterpiece, Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory. Beginning with the first two scenes of the story, the band immediately showcases their incredible technical capabilities, their catchy and memorable songwriting, and the ability to tell a layered and complex storyline that will continue throughout the album. It also takes great use of themes and leitmotifs that will recur as the story progresses. I hope you enjoy the first part of Scenes from a Memory! Be on the lookout for Scene Three! Please don't forget to leave a like and subscribe for more content! Also don't forget to hit the notification bell to stay updated whenever I release a new video! Thanks again! Original music written and performed by Dream Theater (James LaBrie, John Petrucci, Jordan Rudess, John Myung, Mike Portnoy); lyrics by John Petrucci (Regression), Mike Portnoy (Strange Deja Vu) Orchestrated with MuseScore (Muse Sounds/AudioImperia Nucleus/Orchestral Tools/Vienna Symphonic Library) Chapters: 00:00 - 01:25 - Scene One: Regression 01:26 - 05:02 - Scene Two: I.
