WCW/nWo Revenge: Starrcade Edition 2.0 is an extensive, fan-made ROM hack of the iconic 1998 Nintendo 64 wrestling game. Created primarily by modder Ssarks, this massive total-conversion modification fundamentally upgrades the base AKI engine game to feel like an entirely new experience built for the modern era. Key Features: Expanded Roster & Attires: The game expands the playable wrestler selection with over 30 new characters representing the early 1998 WCW timeframe. New entries and variations include Bret Hart, the Ultimate Warrior, Bam Bam Bigelow, Curt Hennig, Syxx, Rick Rude (in full wrestling gear), and members of Raven's Flock. Over 200 New Animations: Features brand-new movesets, customizable animations, and unique taunts previously impossible in the base game. For example, Hollywood Hogan receives a dedicated "Hulking Up" sequence and a grounded leg-drop finisher. Visual Overhaul: Every playable wrestler has four distinct costumes based on their real-world appearances. Audio Enhancements: Includes custom audio integrations, featuring official ring announcer audio and Tony Schiavone’s voice for pinfall counts to build TV-style authenticity.
