Electric Grid Bootcamp: NERC and RF 101

RF's VP of Engineering & Strategic Engagement Diane Holder and Manager of Regulatory & Legislative Affairs Michelle Cross kicked off RF's Electric Grid Bootcamp on Aug. 18, 2026, providing an overview of the work we do at RF as well as the ERO Enterprise and NERC overall. The event was designed to provide a practical, technical foundation in electric grid reliability and oversight, including an overview of the respective roles of NERC, ReliabilityFirst, utilities, and regional transmission organizations, and how reliability standards are developed, monitored, and enforced.
